If you don’t want powder to make your makeup look cakey, you have to try this! It sets the makeup but really keeps the powder from getting cakey. Just try it once and you’ll be hooked!

This isn’t a sit-down-let’s-DIY-today kind of project. This is a little lip sitch that I like to do all of the time when I want to take my nude lip a little more uptown. But let me warn you, it’s addictive. Here’s how:

That’s it! I think the gloss adds a little je ne sais quoi but you could leave it matte. Just be careful to lightly apply the pressure with the wand so it rolls over the champagne shadow but doesn’t move it.

Matte lipstick has been huge for a few years now. But there’s something we can do to make it a little more alive! I promise you will still enjoy the effect of a matte lip. But there will be more life to it if you do this:

  1. You can skip this step but I’m a big fan of a lined lip so I start by lining the perimeter with the lip pencil.
  2. Next fill in the lip area with the matching lipstick.
  3. Now here’s the trick: apply the lip gloss to the center of the bottom lip. It instantly adds volume and dimension with its little hint of shine. And don’t worry if you rub your lips together and it gets onto the middle of the top lip because that’s pretty too!

This is one of my favorite tricks to make me smile and chillax throughout the day! You should already have all of the ingredients and it only takes a second.Here’s how!

  1. Grab your favorite parfum and spritz it a few times onto the cloth that comes with your sunglasses. You could also use a handkerchief if you inherited one from a grandparent!
  2. Plop it into your purse.
  3. The scent will travel and every time you pull out an article from your handbag, it will smell like your favorite scent! It makes me so happy!
