As amazing as Summer is, it can be pretty damaging to our skin, even if you wear SPF 50, sit under an umbrella with sunglasses and a hat on! Freckles multiply (welcome to my life!), sun spots get darker, melasma spreads and an accidental afternoon with no sun protection leaves you with a sunburn followed by peeling. So today I’m asking you to make a plan to undo it all! There are short term solutions (perfect if you have a date tonight!) that surfacely shed the dead skin and plump, making your skin gorgeous and renewed, and there are long term solutions that actually lighten and brighten the dark spots. BLEMISH BE GONE!

When you’re sick, you take aspirin to reduce inflammation. When you have an unhappy pimple, you’d do anything to reduce the inflammation. You’re curious to see if it will work on blemishes the same way it works on a fever, so you make a paste and try it out. Eureka!! The pimple has calmed down and is much smaller. Nuff said! We’ve always heard “an apple a day keeps the doctor away,” but one of the biggest benefits from eating fruit is for our skin! Because I can’t say enough about anti-oxidants anti-oxidants ANTI-OXIDANTS! They are the secret to fighting free radicals that break everything down, causing the depletion of healthy cells and leading to skin in-elasticity, wrinkles, acne and irritations. Think of anti-oxidants as an army inside of you that attacks everything skin-harming that comes its way. But we need to keep the army replenished and fruit is our biggest supplier!
