Every Fall I love researching what lip color is going to be the big shade of the season. We had the Oxblood Lip in 2014 and the Merlot Lip last year (which is still going strong this year). But this Fall, I feel like the pendulum is (finally) swinging from the heavy-handed Kardashian-style makeup to the other end of the spectrum: still adding a pop of color but in an “I don’t care” and more effortless way. And the best way to achieve it is fingerpainting it on, creating a non-stain stain look in the prettiest way possible. Here’s how:
