DIY Glitter Glue

There are many products sold as “mixing mediums” to help apply and set glitter on your eyelids. But this trick is what I’ve always found to last the longest AND be good for your skin. Because it’s using an eye cream! Just follow the steps above if you’re doing a single wash of color on bare skin or if you’re applying it on top of eye shadow that’s already on your eyes, lose the cotton swab, dip your finger lightly in the eye cream, dab it a couple times on the back of your hand to thin it out, then press your finger into the glitter to load it up then press your finger wherever you want to place the glitter.

• Your Favorite Eye Glitter — I have always found Make Up For Ever Glitters ($$) to come in the prettiest shades! But I also love these (on sale $)!
• Your Favorite Eye Cream —  I keep this one ($$$) in my kit for all of my clients. You can also try this drug store favorite ($).
• A Cotton Swab — I like these soft and gentle ones formulated for babies ($).
