There’s a little trick to rimming the waterline better. And it only takes a second. And most likely, you already have the tool in your medicine cabinet! There’s nothing worse than lining the inside of your eye and having it barely pick up the pigment. Waah waah. Ok, there are many things worse in the world, but this is a beauty blog and we can be a little dramatic. It just bugs me when people don’t take the time to do things properly. Probably the Aquarius in me? Anyway, please enjoy this secret tip and try it the next time you want to go for a more piercing eye. Here’s how:

TOOLS:

• Your favorite kohl pencil — I always use this easy gliding pencil ($$) on my clients but I also love this budget-friendly one ($).
• Or your favorite kajal pencil — If you want insane intensity, opt for a kajal pencil like this one ($$) or this one ($).
• A Q-tip or cotton swab.

• This is the curling mascara ($$) I used.
