So many of you wrote in asking what the lip color was that was used in my High Brow Tutorial last week that I had to share! I’m sure a lot of you already know about Intuitive Lip Balms, but for those of you who haven’t discovered them yet, you’re in for a beautiful surprise! They go on and feel like a clear lip balm but respond intuitively to your pH level and become anywhere from a sheer light pink to a gorgeous bright pink. Yes!

My favorites in three different forms:

• Crayon — Tarte LipSurgence Skintuitive Lip Tint in Energy
• Pot — Givenchy Hydra Sparkling Magic Lip & Cheek Balm in Rosy Glow (it also comes in Peach Glow)
• Lipstick — Dior Addict Lip Glow

It’s been my experience that the Dior is the lightest hint of pink (I used it on Dree Hemingway’s ELLE Spain cover story last year and loved it), Givenchy’s is the brightest (I get tons of compliments when I wear it on myself almost everyday) and Tarte’s is nicely somewhere in the middle (and is the perfect choice for the eco-conscious girl). Whichever one you choose, just apply it, give it a second to come to life and glow! The more layers you go back and apply, the brighter it becomes. It’s an effortless and chic look, especially paired with a classic cat eye.
