SHADOW FOCUS: EYE COLOR

Yes most neutral shades (taupe, grey, nude, bronze, copper, white, etc) look just as gorgeous with green eyes as with any other eye colors. But if you really want to make your green eyes pop, frame them with a shade from the purple family and you will become obsessed! Of course you shouldn’t wear purple every day because it’s such a statement color, but bring it out whenever you really want to turn heads.

AUBERGINE + MAROON: Because these shades have the most red + pink undertones (the shades across from green on the color wheel), they are the most powerful in contrasting with green, therefore making them pop. We love Joeur Powder Eyeshadow in Bordeaux.

ROYAL PURPLE: You know we live for this paired with a red lip! Try Stila Eyeshadow in Cassis.

LAVENDER + VIOLET: These shades are gorgeous with a peachy cheek and nude lip. Our favorite is Too Faced Exotic Color Intense Shadow in Violet Femme.

PERIWINKLE: This blue-based purple is perfect when you want a softer look. We love Stila Eyeshadow in Mambo.
