Of course I’ve always thought I personally have the best job in the world making up the prettiest (and sweetest) faces… but getting to do Rachel Bilson’s makeup for her first Shoemint campaign and having access to her AMAZING line of shoes before the world got to see them… forget about it! There’s just nothing better when it comes to style and fun than Rachel + shoes + makeup!! Here’s exactly what I used on her for her ShoeMint shoot:
FACE: I applied Sensai by Kanebo Fluid Finish Lasting Velvet Foundation in Almond Beige all over with the Beauty Blender pink egg sponge brush then bronzed + contoured her cheekbones with Hourglass Illume Cream Duo in Bronze Light.
EYE: I swept two layers of Chanel Illusion D’Ombre in Epatant all over her lid + crease with my ring finger, lined the top + bottom lashlines with Tom Ford Noir Absolute for Eyes then finished with two coats of Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay Mascara.
LIP: I applied on coat of Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Matte Lip Color in L’Exquise.
And… not only can we do our makeup like I did Rachel’s, but as TBD beauties and first time buyers, we get a special 20% discount off our first pair when we sign up on Shoemint.com using the discount code: BEAUTY20 at checkout!!
Membership is free, shipping both ways is free, because Rachel has teeny feet, she made sure to offer all sizes (5-11), there is no obligation to buy, a new collection premieres each month and you can pick one or skip that month (or buy them all a la carte!)… and best of all, you get on-trend heels, flats + booties for $79.98 each that Rachel personally designed with her stylist Nicole Chavez in collaboration with Steve Madden. A match made in heaven! My personal favorites that I’m obsessing over are the Hattie and the Rosemary… what are yours?
