I had so much fun trying multi-colored tips this summer.  I had always wanted to try something a little crazy with my hair and, with the help of your votes, decided to go for it!  While my fun do was short lived (I only kept the color for a week before returning to my blonde locks), I was happy to cross it off my list of to-dos. So it seemed that my days of dying my hair unnatural shades were through… but I was wrong!  I have been bitten my the color bug once again! I first saw these orange streaks on the runway and thought they would be so pretty toned down a bit.  But my original color inspiration comes from this fashionista.  This look is a bit more tame than my first time around, but I thought I better play it safe and get the opinion of you beauty connoisseurs before I pull the trigger.   So what do you guys think?  Should I try out these pretty peach tips or should I just stick to my traditional blonde?

Going on a first date is always nerve-racking. What to wear, what to say, where to meet, etc… Let me tell you one thing you don’t need to over think– your hair. Recently, I asked 20 guy friends for their opinion on a girls’ “first date” hair. 16 out of 20 guys agreed, a lovely lady’s hair shouldn’t be the focal point. First I showed them photos of very basic hairstyles like the simple ponytail, a basic blow out, every day waves, + natural curls. Next I showed them the hairstyles our female readers have requested the most- the fishtail braid, the fun bun + twisted sister. Hands down, the more simple hairstyles took the prize with the guys. Try to keep things pretty and natural. You should look like yourself at your most polished. If they’re not into that, don’t even start thinking about second date hair.

When I was in 5th grade I got my first real manicure in a nail salon. It was French. I remember feeling so fancy and grown up.  In the following days, I remember being overly careful not to chip those pretty china white tips.  Now whenever I see a French manicure it brings me back to that moment. Because you never forget your first… manicure that is.  Since then, there have been countless re-inventions of the classic French manicure. Black tips, multi-colored tips, reverse French manicure (highlighting the moons of your nails instead of the tips)…  So we want to know which ones you fancy!  Are you partial to the classic, clean version composed of pale pink and white or do you prefer an updated twist?
