Coming out of Winter and into Spring is my favorite time of the year! Be gone with the vamp and oxblood lips from the past months! There’s so much inspiration everywhere with daffodils popping up, cherry blossoms blooming and azaleas gazing and all can be transferred into makeup choices. There are many gorgeous collections that have come out for Spring and I hope this post inspires you to take a quick walk down the beauty aisle at your local drug or department store or browse online and brighten your look with a new feminine and fun lip color! We continue our Blush & Bronzing Series with today’s lesson in powder blush. This option:

  1. works well with all skin types,
  2. is the best option for those of us with oily skin,
  3. opens up the world of shimmer if you want an extra glow,
  4. lasts longer than the various blush types,
  5. and layers beautifully on top of mineral powder foundation.

Powder blush has been around since the onset of makeup and will never go away because it adds that perfect flush of color for an instant healthy-looking glow. (more…)

‘TIS THE SEASON!

I love a foiled lip all year round, but especially for holiday parties or New Year’s! It’s a really festive look that’s very sultry and coy. There are metallic lipsticks out there but nothing really that gives you a foiled look like eyeshadow minerals over lip gloss (and this way you can use something you already own!).
