QUICK TIP

photo: http://rainbowcinnamon.tumblr.com post designed by lauren conrad

If you want to turn your eyelash curler into a mini curling iron, all you
have to do is blast it for 20 seconds with your hair dryer.  Wait at least
a minute to let it cool down and be sure to test it with your finger to
make sure it’s not too hot that you burn your eye lids. Then squeeze once
at your lash line, once again half-way out and one more pinch 3/4′s out.
(If you only pinch at your lash line, it will look like you’ve been
chasing parked cars!)

Today nails are becoming more and more relevant. With different shapes, airbrushing, crazy colors and even 3D art, inventive nails have become a great way to express your personal style. Because of this, many of us find ourselves reaching for an electric blue or sunshine yellow polish. We have been having so much fun with our wild nails that many of us have forgotten about our old friend Classic Red. That timeless red that we used to love so much now gathers dust in the back of our bathroom drawers. So why not rekindle the friendship? Paint your nails red… and then the town!

JUST FAUX YOU

Before you commit to the real McCoy, maybe you want to try this quick trick. Wear these faux bangs over the weekend and see if you’re really into the idea of having them or if you were just having an underwhelming day.

Do it: Blow dry the entire “bang” section down toward your face first. Tease them for a little texture or smooth them out with a round brush for a more tailored look. Last, throw in a pretty little barrette… just to really sell it to yourself!

SO FANCY

For instant sophistication, red lipstick is a girl’s best friend.  We love
it with everything from jeans to dresses… there is nothing more
glamorous. Here, we break down the steps to make it last all night.

TOOLS:

-toothbrush or disposable mascara wand

-lip balm

-nude lip liner

-red lipstick

-eye shadow blending brush

-translucent loose powder

-lip brush

INSTRUCTIONS

1) Using a toothbrush or disposable mascara wand and lip balm,
remove any dead skin by gently scrubbing in circular motions.

2) Outline the perimeter with a nude liner to prevent feathering.

3) Apply red lipstick directly from the tube.

4) Using an eyeshadow blending brush and translucent loose powder, powder
your lips to really set the color.

5) Apply a second coat with a lip brush to smooth edges and perfect lines.
