This might not be for everyone but I know it made a lot of you light up inside! There are so many different variations of this too. DIY: SPARKLING STAR HAIR CLIPS

photos/post/graphic design: Kristin Ess

Tis almost the holiday season, friends! Too often we busy bees are under-prepared for all the parties, all the photos + all the gift giving. This DIY will help us look lovely and stay ahead of schedule.

Hear my voice in your head, sister: if you only pinch with the curler upright, you’re only doing it halfway! You have to then also pinch with the curler inverted. Trust me on this. It’s one of the biggest secrets I can share. READ MORE…

You’d have to be living under a rock to miss this Oxblood fashion trend! Ok just kidding but seriously it’s been everywhere from handbags, jeans and heels to translated as a lip statement on the runways, the Emmy’s and the VMA’s. And the only way to do it is with a longwear lip lacquer. Why? Because there is nothing worse than having a deep red statement lip smearing and traveling past your lips. (Vampires are still in fashion but let’s not take the blood-drinking look too literally please!) So here’s how to get it done right, with a splurge and a save option for each: READ MORE…
