FRUIT FOR THOUGHT

We’ve always heard “an apple a day keeps the doctor away,” but one of the biggest benefits from eating fruit is for our skin! Because I can’t say enough about anti-oxidants anti-oxidants ANTI-OXIDANTS! They are the secret to fighting free radicals that break everything down, causing the depletion of healthy cells and leading to skin in-elasticity, wrinkles, acne and irritations. Think of anti-oxidants as an army inside of you that attacks everything skin-harming that comes its way. But we need to keep the army replenished and fruit is our biggest supplier! Here are the anti-oxidant super powers:

BERRIES: Blueberries, strawberries + blackberries
TOMATOES
CANTALOUPE
PLUMS

The other super power for your skin is VITAMIN C because it delays or even reduces wrinkles. The biggest fruit providers of Vitamin C are:

KIWI
ORANGES
GRAPEFRUIT
GUAVA
