There’s nothing prettier than an understated gold-highlighted face! Especially at a New Year’s Eve party… And because gold accents were found all over the Spring runways, we can carry this look into the upcoming months. The trick to walking the fine line before it becomes too obvious is to build in layers (because you can always add more but it’s harder to take away). You can highlight cheekbones, eyelids + lips, but mostly concentrate on one area then use a lighter hand on the other two. Here are my favorite products from my kit:

Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Pure Luminizer in Pure Gold $17 (also great on cheekbones)

Milani Metallic Baked Eyeshadow in Drenched in Gold $6.99

Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Mascara in Gold Sparkles $29.50

Stila All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer in Luminous Gold #3 $22

Smashbox O-Gloss Gold $22

Revlon ColorBurst Lipgloss in Gold Dust $7.49

Iman Luxury Moisturizing Lipstick in Sheer Gold $8.99

Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Gold Shimmer Dust $39

Revlon Nail Enamel in Gold Coin $4.79
